Susan Jane Gentile is an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University, where she has taught since 2002 across multiple programs including the Environmental Studies M.S., Urban Sustainability M.A., and online MBA and B.S. programs. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England and a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Williams College.

Her research interests focus on educating for sustainability, environmental education, and integrating environmental, economic, and equity principles into curriculum design. Susan has taught a wide range of courses, including Earth Systems and Climate Change, Environmental Health, Capstone Project, Science for Urban Sustainability, and various courses in curriculum design, place-based education, and problem-solving for sustainability. She has also contributed to green schools initiatives and data analysis in education.
