Susan Griffin

Susan Griffin is a Lecturer in Spanish at Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences, specializing in innovative language pedagogy and cross-cultural education. She coordinates the first-semester Spanish program and previously served as Overall Coordinator of the Spanish Language Program and Acting Assistant Dean for Language Instruction. Her teaching spans elementary to advanced courses, including interdisciplinary topics like film analysis in Hispanic cultures.

Her research interests center on adapting teaching methodologies for evolving educational landscapes, particularly during the pandemic. She actively explores technology-enhanced learning and has developed curriculum materials to reduce reliance on commercial textbooks. Griffin is also a former LfA Coach, supporting faculty in remote and hybrid teaching strategies.
