Susan Forde is Professor of Media and Journalism at Griffith University's School of Humanities, Languages and Social Science in Brisbane, Australia. She served as Director of the Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research from 2016-2024 and has held academic positions at Griffith University since 2012. Her work focuses on community and independent media forms within democratic systems.
