Susan Everett

Susan Everett, Ph.D. is a Professor of Science Education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn's College of Education, Health, and Human Services. She currently serves as Interim Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs for CEHHS, focusing on elementary certification and graduate science education programs.

• Education: Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Iowa (1999)

Her research centers on science education and STEM teaching methodologies, with recent collaborations including a featured column in Science Scope integrating science and engineering for middle-level students. She also works on a children's book project exploring national parks, aligning with her philosophy of nature-based learning inspired by John Muir's writings.
