Susan Cork is a Fulltime Professor in the Department of Ecosystem and Public Health at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. She has held leadership roles as founding Head of her department since 2008, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to global health challenges that bridge veterinary science and public health.

Key projects include tick ecology research in Alberta, interdisciplinary mapping of Asian Longhorned Tick distribution, and community engagement in Bhutanese tick control. She has contributed to international veterinary standards through her OIE committee work and produced technical manuals for field staff in low-income countries.
