Susan Bushinski is a Professor in the Department of Nursing at Eastern Michigan University, commencing her first year at EMU. She holds dual board certifications as an acute care nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner, with active clinical practice at HOPE medical clinic in Ypsilanti, MI and multiple local long-term care facilities.

Her poster presentations on academic plagiarism literature review and Frailty Syndrome practice implications demonstrate translational scholarship bridging research with clinical teaching.
She instructs NURS 220 and NURS 375 courses while maintaining frontline clinical practice that directly informs her pedagogical approach and research agenda in nursing education.
