Dr. Susan Bird is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Charles Darwin University (CDU), affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Society. She also holds an Adjunct position at CQUniversity. Her research focuses on legal geographies, inclusive space design, and law’s role in addressing food waste through food rescue initiatives. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary scholarship, particularly in legal education and diversity in academia.
Education: PhD in Melbourne's Wildscapes: A Critical Ethnography (2014). Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education, zero hunger, and reduced inequalities.
