معرفی
Surjeet Rajendran is a Senior Researcher at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in theoretical and experimental particle physics, gravitation, and cosmology. His work focuses on fundamental physics questions, including the Strong CP problem, axion dark matter, and precision measurements of the proton electric dipole moment (EDM). He leads and collaborates on major projects such as the pEDM experiment and the MAGIS-100 initiative.
Education: PhD from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory under advisor Savas Dimopoulos. Prior roles include a Junior position at UC Berkeley (2004–2009). His research spans high-energy physics, cosmology, and quantum technologies, with contributions to understanding dark matter, neutrino interactions, and gravitational phenomena.
Key projects include collaborations on the MAGIS and pEDM experiments, exploring axion physics, and advancing quantum sensor technologies. His work bridges theoretical models with experimental validation, addressing critical gaps in our understanding of fundamental forces and particles.
