Sunny Kerr

Sunny Kerr is an Adjunct Professor at Queen's University's Film and Media department and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. She brings her interdisciplinary art practice to curatorial work, focusing on emergent issues in contemporary art and experimental presentation formats.

Her research explores informal pedagogies, resistant temporalities, museum collections, and science-art dialogues around dark matter physics. Recent projects examine intersections between comics, immersive cinema, and contemporary art practices. She has collaborated with artists like Brendan Fernandes, Chris Kline, and Judy Radul to develop exhibitions that challenge traditional curatorial frameworks.

Key publications include catalogues on transmedia practices, Rochdale College's counter-cultural legacy, and speculative approaches to art theory. Her curatorial work emphasizes participatory formats and ungovernable collectivities.
