Dr. Sunita Dodani is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Founding Director of the EVMS-Sentara Healthcare Analytics and Delivery Science Institute at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She overcame significant early-life challenges, including polio and societal barriers, driven by her mother’s encouragement to pursue medicine. Her career spans roles at Aga Khan University Medical College (Karachi, Pakistan), Dalhousie University (Canada), and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her PhD in chronic diseases.
