SungEun Park is an Assistant Professor of Piano and Director of Piano Studies & Music Theory at Texas Lutheran University's School of Music. She is also the program director of the Texas State International Piano Festival. Dr. Park holds a DMA in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Music from Texas State University.
Her research interests span piano performance, contemporary music premieres, chamber music, and music theory pedagogy. She has performed extensively across Korea, Italy, and the U.S. with orchestras such as the Round Rock Symphony and Jeju Philharmonic, and has premiered works by composers like Peter Petroff and Zvonimir Nagy. Dr. Park has recorded multiple albums and served as a jury member for the Texas Young Artist Piano Competition (2017).
