Sundeep Khosla

Sundeep Khosla, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine and Physiology at Mayo Clinic, specializing in endocrinology and aging-related bone loss research. He leads the Osteoporosis and Bone Biology Laboratory, focusing on cellular senescence mechanisms in bone and their impact on skeletal fragility. Dr. Khosla holds joint appointments in the Department of Physiology & Biomedical Engineering and the Section of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. His work bridges clinical and translational science, including roles as past Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (2013-2020) and President of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (2010-2011).
