Professor Sue Saltmarsh is the Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Education at the University of New England. She holds a BA(Hons) and PhD from Macquarie University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on sociological and cultural studies of education, childhood, and family violence, employing qualitative methodologies like ethnography and discourse analysis. Her work examines organizational complicity in violence, parent-school engagement, and elite education cultures.
