Sue Pyke is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at Flinders University's College of Science and Engineering, specializing in student-centered teaching approaches across all year levels. She serves as Teaching Program Director for Physical and Molecular Sciences, overseeing curriculum leadership in Chemistry, Physics, Forensic Science, Biotechnology, and Environmental Health.
- Education: BSc Hons (1989) and PhD (1991) in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from University of Sydney
Her research interests focus on Chemistry Education, with particular emphasis on:
- Transition support for students entering university Chemistry programs
- Curriculum design for foundational and advanced Chemistry topics
