Dr Sue Krause is a Research Fellow in the Division of Molecular Genetics at the University of Glasgow’s College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. She specializes in molecular genetics, transcriptomics, and Drosophila research, with expertise in cell cycle regulation and yeast signaling pathways.
Research Interests:
- Mitotic chromosome formation and DNA replication checkpoints
- Yeast stress response and PKC1 signaling pathway dynamics
- Development of transcriptomic (FlyAtlas2) and metabolomic (FlyMet) databases
- Comparative insect renal system physiology via single-cell transcriptomics
Grants and Collaborations: Co-Investigator on a BBSRC grant for yeast signaling pathway research. Collaborates with University of Toronto researchers for synthetic genetic array analysis.
