Sue Giles is a part-time Costume Technician and sessional Lecturer at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Edith Cowan University. She teaches courses in costume construction, including MSTCL4002 - Assemble and fit commercially tailored or bespoke garments and CUACOS411 - Costumes for dance and physical theatre.

Sue specializes in theatre costume design, with a focus on tutu construction and costumes for dance and physical theatre. Her expertise extends to bespoke garment making, stage costume technology, and practical training for costume production.
With over two decades of experience in Perth's theatre industry, Sue has worked with prestigious organizations such as the West Australian Ballet, West Australian Opera, and Black Swan Theatre Company. She has trained future costume makers since 2007 and continues to support students in production and learning environments.
