Northeastern Illinois Universityمعرفی
Sudha Srinivas is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). She has held this position since 2005, after serving as Associate Professor (2002-2005) and Assistant Professor (1998-2002) at Central Michigan University. Her academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of New York at Albany (1995), followed by M.S. and B.Sc. degrees in Physics from The University of Poona (1987) and The University of Delhi (1985), respectively.
Education
- Ph.D. in Physics, State University of New York at Albany (1995)
- M.S. in Physics, The University of Poona (1987)
- B.Sc. in Physics, The University of Delhi (1985)
Research Interests
Dr. Srinivas specializes in computational condensed matter physics, focusing on modeling the physical and chemical properties of technological materials at microscopic scales. Her research includes first-principles investigations of metal cluster interactions with molecules to understand catalytic properties and studies on the thermal and physical behavior of small metal clusters. This work bridges theoretical physics with material science, aiming to advance applications in nanotechnology and future technologies.
