Professor Suchith Anand is affiliated with the University of Exeter within the Department of Social and Political Sciences, Philosophy, and Anthropology. He is an internationally recognized expert in data and AI ethics, with a focus on bridging academia, policy, and practice.
His research interests include:

- Geospatial Data Science
- Open Education and Open Science
- Sustainable Development Leadership
- Equality, Diversity, and Public Good
He co-founded the Ethical Data Initiative, serves as founding chair of the Geospatial IG of the Research Data Alliance, and contributes to global policy as a World Economic Forum Expert Network member and UN SDG Volunteer and Advocate. He has mentored over 1000 emerging leaders via GeoForAll and has extensive teaching experience across UK and Indian institutions.
