Dr. Subroto Ghose is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), where he leads the Ghose Lab within the Schizophrenia Research Program. His medical training includes an MD from Delhi University/Maulana Azad Medical College (1991), psychiatry residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine (2001), and a neuropathology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (2004). His research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying schizophrenia, particularly glutamate receptor dysfunction and cannabis-psychosis interactions.
