Subhasish M. Chowdhury is a Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, University of Sheffield. His research focuses on theoretical and applied investigations in Conflict Economics, Behavioral Economics, Industrial Organization, and Political Economy. He serves as Co-Editor of Frontiers in Behavioral Economics and Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy, and editorial board member of Studies in Microeconomics. Notable contributions include studies on identity-driven bias in cricket, contest theory dynamics, and gender differences in dishonest behavior. He was awarded the 4th Walter Isard Annual Award (2021) and actively participates in academic leadership roles, including organizing conferences and delivering keynote speeches globally.
