Su Myat Han

Dr. Su Myat Han is an Assistant Professor specializing in infectious disease epidemiology and global health policy. She holds multiple qualifications including MBBS, MHSc, DTM&H, and PhD. With extensive field experience at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) spanning clinical practice, advocacy, and management, she now focuses on academic teaching and capacity-building programs across Southeast Asia.

Recent work explores influenza phylogenetics, leptospirosis interventions, COVID-19 public health measures, and stroke epidemiology in Myanmar. She maintains active research collaborations across Japan and Southeast Asia, with particular interest in understudied public health challenges affecting vulnerable populations.
