Su Mi Dahlgaard-Park is a Full Professor and Co-Director of the Masters program at the Institute for Service Management, Lund University, Sweden, with a distinguished visiting professorship at Yuanzhe University, Taiwan. Her career spans roles at Linköping University (2000-2005), Århus University (1987-2000), and Copenhagen University (1985-1987). She holds advanced degrees in Political Sciences, East Asian Area Studies, and Management & Philosophy from Linköping University.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on
- Organizational theory and strategic change
- Total Quality Management (TQM) and service sciences
- Lean production and Six Sigma in industrial revolutions
- Japanese management practices and cross-cultural studies
- Sustainability-aligned quality frameworks
Scientific Contributions: She has authored or co-authored 199 research outputs, including the most downloaded TQM Journal special issue and a top-five downloaded paper on Lean Production, Six Sigma, and TQM (2006). Her recent publications analyze 30+ years of TQM evolution, Russian Government Quality Award impacts, and Industry 4.0 challenges.
