Su Jung Jee is a Lecturer in Business Analytics and Technology Management at the Management School of The University of Sheffield. She holds a PhD and BS in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Technology Management and Analytics from Yonsei University, South Korea. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bradford School of Management (2022-23), and held visiting roles including Visiting Fellow at INET Oxford (2021) and Visiting PhD Student at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), University of Sussex (2018).
Her research focuses on innovation management & policy, intellectual property, AI industrial dynamics, sustainability, complexity science, and design science. Notable work includes analyzing knowledge spillovers between clean/dirty technologies, AI adoption patterns, and utility models' role in economic development. She has secured grants totaling over £180k including SSHRC New Frontiers Fund (2023-25) and ESRC InterAct Fellowship (2023-24).
