Recent work includes studying beluga body condition via 'omics techniques, toxin exposure in cetaceans, and pharmacokinetics in exotic species. Over 20 students have been supervised in topics ranging from beluga necropsy trends to analgesia in pigeons.
Collaborations include the Nunavik Trichinellosis Prevention Program and studies on Besnoitia tarandi in caribou. His lab actively addresses wildlife health challenges in changing ecosystems, emphasizing conservation and veterinary medicine intersections.
