Stylianos Katakis is an Associate Professor of Roman Archaeology at the Department of History and Archaeology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research focuses on Greek and Roman archaeology, Roman sculpture, Attic sarcophagi, and the transition to Late Antiquity. He co-directs excavations at the Roman Balneum in Rafina and the Sanctuary of Asklepios in Epidauros.
