Stuart McCallum is the Deputy Head of Popular Music and Professor of Guitar, Composition, and Production at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). His multifaceted career spans roles as a guitarist, composer, producer, and educator, with a focus on immersive audio environments and cross-genre collaboration. His research explores contemporary music practices in studio and live settings, informed by his doctoral work ‘Making Music in the Real World’ (2020).
