Strong Apolka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sculpture at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and a doctoral candidate researching Akrolith sculptures and contemporary figurative trends since 2022.

His artistic practice spans monumental public sculpture, medal art, and contemporary figurative expression, blending traditional techniques with modern conceptual approaches. He actively participates in international biennales and public art committees, focusing on historical reinterpretation and memorial works.
Award highlights include the Civitas Fidelissima Award (2025), Munkácsy Mihály Award (2013), and multiple national biennial prizes.
He serves on the Creative Arts Studio Apartment Committee (2024–present) and previously held leadership roles in the Hungarian Sculptors Society (Vice President 2014–2019). His public works include the "Szentek útja" series in Bugac (with Baráz Tamás) and the "Emlékezet" memorial in Dunakeszi.
