معرفی
Stine Rønholt is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Copenhagen, and a key researcher at the LEO Foundation Center for Cutaneous Drug Delivery. She holds a PhD in Food Biophysics (2013) and an MSc in Pharmacy (2009) from the University of Copenhagen, with additional experience as a pharmacist at Landsapoteket Dronning Ingrids Hospital.
Her research integrates physical chemistry, biophysics, and pharmaceutical sciences to study biological barrier interactions (skin/mucus) with drug delivery systems. She specializes in advanced techniques including synchrotron X-ray scattering, neutron scattering, rheology, and cryo-microscopy to develop multimodal platforms for analyzing interactions between drug carriers (e.g., ionic liquids) and biological barriers.
Her publications reflect dual expertise in pharmaceutical delivery (e.g., peptide-based transepithelial delivery) and food science (dairy fat crystallization, butter microstructure). Research consistently employs rheological and microstructural analysis across domains.
No scientific awards or student advising roles are mentioned in available materials. She has participated in 28 academic activities including conferences (e.g., AAPS Annual Meeting) and peer review for journals like the Journal of Food Engineering.
