Stewart Thompson

Stewart Thompson is an Associate Professor in Psychology & Education at New Mexico Tech. His research spans two major areas: (1) the environmental regulation of physiology and behavior (particularly light's effects on alertness and sleep), and (2) the intersection of psychology and cybersecurity, focusing on cognitive vulnerabilities in online systems.

• Research Focus 1: Non-image-forming visual functions and retinal degeneration mechanisms using animal models.
• Research Focus 2: Human factors in cybersecurity, including phishing susceptibility and stress management in cyberdefense roles.
