Steven Stoner

Dr. Steven Stoner is Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy, where he previously chaired the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed psychiatric pharmacy residency and fellowship training at Western Missouri Mental Health Center.

His research expertise centers on bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and pharmacy education methodologies. He maintains a practice site at Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center.

Dr. Stoner has received several honors including the NCDEU-NIMH Young Investigator Award and CPNP AstraZeneca Clinical Pharmacy Practice Award. He directed an ASHP-accredited psychiatric pharmacy residency program for 10 years and has held leadership positions in professional organizations including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and Mid-America Colleges of Clinical Pharmacy.
