Steven Rosenzweig, MD is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of the Office of Community Engagement at Drexel University College of Medicine. He holds dual board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Medicine, with expertise in integrative medicine and mindfulness-based interventions. His academic work focuses on medical student professional development, including curricula in professionalism, bioethics, and medical humanities. Dr. Rosenzweig pioneered the Professionalism Curriculum integrated across all four years of medical training, chairs the Professionalism Remediation Advisory Board, and directs Drexel's Medical Humanities Program.
His clinical practice emphasizes palliative care and integrative medicine, with over 15 years of private practice experience. Notable accolades include multiple Golden Apple Awards for teaching excellence (2018, 2023, 2025) and Philadelphia Magazine's Top Doctor designation (2024).
