Steven Rivetti

Steven Rivetti is a Doctoral student and Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, working within the Division of Information Science and Engineering. His office is located at Malvinas Väg 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, and he can be reached at stevenr@kth.se. Under the joint supervision of Prof. M. Skoglund and Prof. E. Björnsson, he conducts research at the intersection of communication, sensing, and positioning systems.

His primary research focuses on integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technologies for next-generation wireless networks, particularly examining security vulnerabilities in reconfigurable intelligent surfaces and spatial signal design in cell-free MIMO architectures. His work addresses critical challenges in 5G and Beyond 5G networks, with emphasis on beamforming techniques, network security, and positioning accuracy.

Recent publications demonstrate his contributions to wireless security and ISAC systems, appearing in IEEE Wireless Communications Letters and the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference. These works analyze destructive beamforming impacts and secure signal design approaches for emerging network architectures.

Rivetti received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan (POLIMI), Italy, in 2020 and 2022. During his M.Sc., he was a visiting thesis student at Chalmers University, Sweden, working on machine learning approaches for cellular positioning.
