Mats Bengtsson is a Professor of Signal Processing at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a position in the Division of Information Science and Engineering and serves as Program Director for the doctoral program in Electrical Engineering and the master program in Information and Network Engineering. His research focuses on statistical signal processing applications, including antenna array processing, radio resource management, propagation channel modeling, positioning, navigation, and sensor data analysis.
Education: M.S. in Computer Science from Linköping University (1991), Tech. Lic. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KTH (1997 and 2000). Professional roles include Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and Technical Chair for IEEE SPAWC 2015. Notable recognition includes the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine Best Column Award (2019) for work on multiuser transmit beamforming.
Research Interests
