Steven Ongena is a Professor of Banking at the University of Zurich, holding concurrent appointments as a Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute, Research Professor at KU Leuven and NTNU Business School, and a Research Fellow at CEPR. He also serves as a Research Professor at the Deutsche Bundesbank and regularly collaborates with the European Central Bank.
