Professor Steven Marwaha is a Clinical Professorial Fellow and Professor of Psychiatry at The Institute for Mental Health, affiliated with the Life and Environmental Sciences - Centre for Developmental Science in the Psychology department. His research focuses on mood disorders, bipolar disorder, mental health outcomes, and psychosis. He leads multiple active projects funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) across the UK, including algorithm development for difficult-to-treat depression and studies on mental health burden in inflammatory bowel disease patients.
