Steven M. Hietpas

Steven M. Hietpas is a Professor at South Dakota State University in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has been at the university since 1994 and served as Department Head from 2010 to 2018. A licensed professional engineer, Hietpas coordinates the Center for Power Systems Studies and brings industry experience from his work at General Dynamics.
