Steven Heller is a Professor and Special Assistant to the President at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. He co-chairs the MFA Design Department and co-founded several graduate programs including MFA Design Criticism, MPS Branding, and MFA Interaction Design. Heller is a prolific author with over 200 books on graphic design, political art, and typography, including notable titles like *Iron Fists: Branding the 20th-Century Totalitarian State* and *Design Literacy*.
