معرفی
Steven Deere is a Lecturer in Evacuation and Circulation Modelling at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Greenwich. He completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computing (2004) and PhD in maritime evacuation analysis at the same institution. His research integrates human factors with evacuation modeling, focusing on maritime safety, high-rise construction sites, and security scenarios.
He has contributed to EU-funded projects including SAFEGUARD and FIREPROOF, developing validation protocols for evacuation models. His work emphasizes thermal protective equipment efficiency in polar waters, cultural influences on evacuation behavior, and dynamic signage systems. Articles demonstrate consistent focus on experimental validation of evacuation models across naval, construction, and public venue contexts.
He teaches database design and EXODUS software modeling courses while conducting consultancy for passenger vessel safety assessments with organizations including the MoD.
