Steven Carlson

Steven Carlson is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Microbiology at The Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences. He coordinates laboratory instruction for General Microbiology (MICRBIO4100) and the Wild Yeast Isolation course (MICRBIO2100). His expertise includes microbiology education and laboratory development.

• Ph.D. in Microbiology, The Ohio State University (2018)

Dr. Carlson focuses on improving undergraduate microbiology curriculum through new course content creation and community partnerships. He serves on the Department’s Curriculum Committee and actively engages with educational institutions in central Ohio.
