Steven C. McMullen is a Professor of Economics at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where he has taught since 2014. His academic work spans multiple disciplines, with particular focus on the intersection of economics, ethics, and theology. He holds positions as a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and an Associate Fellow at the Kirby Liang Centre for Public Theology.
Dr. McMullen's research interests encompass inequality and poverty, economics of education, animal ethics, environmental economics and ethics, and theology and economics. His scholarly work often explores Christian perspectives on economic issues, reflecting his commitment to integrating faith and scholarship.
