Steven Brill is a Lecturer in English and Journalism at Yale University. A graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, he is a renowned journalist and author known for investigative reporting on healthcare, education, and societal issues. His work 'Bitter Pill' won a 2014 National Magazine Award and inspired his bestselling book America’s Bitter Pill. He has authored other influential books, including Class Warfare and Tailspin.
Brill is the co-founder and CEO of NewsGuard Technologies, a platform assessing media credibility, and previously founded Court TV, The American Lawyer, and Brill’s Content. He launched the Yale Journalism Initiative in 2006 to support student journalists. His career spans journalism innovation, legal publishing, and media entrepreneurship.
