He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy (2005), a First-Class Honors B.A. in English & Philosophy (2001), and a Higher Diploma in Software Development (2015). His research focuses on intersections between philosophy and literature, particularly Wittgensteinian logic, James Joyce’s symbolism, Cartesian influences in modernism, and environmental ethics.
Key awards include the College Silver Medal (2001) for top academic performance, MIC Studentship (2001–2004), and multiple University of Limerick Presidential Letters of Excellence for academic excellence in both undergraduate and software development studies. His interdisciplinary work bridges philosophy, literature, and science, as seen in publications exploring Darwin’s theories, Joyce’s hermetic symbolism, and Beckett’s existential themes.
Publications span poetry (Checkerworks, 2019) and scholarly articles in Hypermedia Joyce Studies, Philosophical Writings, and interdisciplinary journals. His research emphasizes textual analysis, philosophical methodology, and the application of analytic thought to literary and scientific contexts.
No advising or grant information is provided. Bond’s contributions reflect a commitment to both creative and critical engagement with Irish literary heritage and foundational philosophical questions.
