Steven Blasdel

Reverend Dr. Steven Blasdel has been affiliated with Friends University since 2005. He holds a Doctorate in Worship Studies from The Institute for Worship Studies, a Master's in Church Music from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and a B.A. in Speech (Theatre) from Wichita State University.

• Professional Experience: Over 35 years as a minister of music in Kansas and Colorado; songwriter and arranger for Miss Kansas Pageant, Singing Quakers, and Chapel of the Air

His research and creative work focus on Worship Studies, Church Music, and Religious Education, with a background in Speech and Theater. He resides in Wichita with his family.
