Steve Zollinger is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Mathematics at Snow College. He teaches courses including Intermediate Algebra, Introduction to Statistics, and Quantitative Literacy, alongside Aikido in the Physical Education department.
- Education: Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Walden University (2017), M.A. in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University (2005), and dual B.S. degrees in Mathematics Education and Mathematics from Utah State University (2003, 2001).
His research interests focus on Mathematics Education and Educational Technology, informed by his academic background in computational mathematics and computer science education. He emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to learning, blending creativity and technical rigor.
Outside academia, he practices traditional Japanese martial arts (Aikido and Iaido) and enjoys music, theater, sports, and outdoor activities with his family.
