Steve Wolverton

Steve Wolverton is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of North Texas with expertise in archaeology, animal ecology, and zooarchaeology. His research examines North American paleoenvironments, zooarchaeology in the American Southwest, conservation applications of archaeological data, and artifact residue analysis. Geographic focus includes Northwestern Patagonia, Mesa Verde, and Texas river systems.

He teaches courses like Quantitative Methods, Zooarchaeology, Applied Paleozoology in Conservation, and advises graduate students in these areas.
