Steve Conroy

Steve Conroy is a Professor of Economics at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business, where he has been a faculty member since 2004. He holds a PhD and MA in Economics from the University of Southern California, and a BA in Economics from Creighton University.

His research focuses on applied microeconomics with specializations in:

• Real estate and housing economics
• Economics of education
• Economics of aging
• Business ethics

Conroy's publications demonstrate a consistent focus on empirical analysis of property markets, environmental economics, and valuation methodologies. His recent work explores spatial relationships in housing prices, trade-offs between economic factors and environmental concerns, and specialized valuation techniques for unique property features.

He has received numerous awards including:

Conroy maintains active academic advising responsibilities and has developed extensive resources for economics majors. He consults in litigation support and nonmarket asset valuation, and teaches courses in managerial economics, urban development, and microeconomic principles.
