Steve Asselin

Steve Asselin is an Instructor (equivalent to Lecturer) in English at The University of Winnipeg. He received his PhD from Queen's University and has taught at multiple institutions. His research examines intersections of environment and literature, particularly disaster fiction, climate change narratives, and Gothic ecology.

Research Focus: Current projects investigate nineteenth-century climate fiction and racism in apocalyptic literature, employing ecocritical and political economy frameworks.
