Stephen Xia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and by courtesy in Computer Science at Northwestern University. He directs the Intelligent Mobile and Embedded Computing (IMEC) Lab. His research focuses on embedded AI, mobile systems, IoT, and digital health, aiming to create smarter, safer environments through resource-efficient technologies. Xia holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and a B.S. from Rice University.
