Dr. Stephen Wootton is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton, affiliated with its Nutrition, Endocrinology and Metabolism department. His research focuses on clinical nutrition, metabolic disorders, and their implications in oncology, chronic diseases, and pediatric/geriatric populations. He leads and collaborates on projects such as the CANDO program and ICONIC task force, addressing cancer-related nutrition and global health challenges. His work spans clinical trials, systematic reviews, and translational research. Dr. Wootton has been recognized with an OBE (2018) for his contributions. He currently supervises PhD students in human development and health.
