Stephen Ralph Holmes is a Senior Lecturer in Theology at the School of Divinity, University of St Andrews, with an affiliation to the Centre for Higher Education Research. He holds an ORCID profile and has been actively involved in academic and denominational advisory roles since 2004. His research focuses on the history of Reformed and Baptist theological traditions, the doctrine of God, and contemporary theological methodological questions.
His educational and professional background includes extensive work with Christian denominations such as the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance. Holmes has supervised 14 postgraduate research students and is currently accepting new students in areas like Baptist history, Reformed theology, and atonement studies.
